This Week's Menu



I went a little poultry heavy on this week's offerings but there were no complaints despite our recent surfeit of turkey. Beets were gorgeous at the Farmer's Market so we had them juiced for breakfast and roasted for dinner. Figs snuck in here and there. I am glad that I got healthy doses of veggies in everywhere I could because, as mentioned already, this was a rather animal protein heavy week for us - a sign that, even in sunny California, winter and comfort food cooking is right around the corner, maybe?
