Menu: Week of 11/09/15



With a glut of late tomatoes in the stores and at the Farmer's Market, I have been concentrating on using as much of those as possible in the past few weeks. It is rare these days to get a tomato that really tastes like a tomato so the delicious ones get eaten raw while the less flavorful get roasted to intensify whatever hint of taste they actually have.


Breakfast is a struggle for us so sometimes all I can do is sneak a few nutritious extras into items like an innocent looking fruit smoothie and hope that it will do as brain food until lunchtime.
