I came back from holiday completely stuffed from eating so much delicious food, vowing to start off the year with a few weeks of lighter, more health-centric food; after sugar plum season, visions of salads danced in my head. Like most new year's resolutions, this fell by the wayside pretty quickly and - if anything - this week's menu (though delicious) was much starchier than usual. These were all foods that I craved and I am blaming this on the cold and damp weather brought on by El Nino storms.
