I really enjoyed making this dish. I found the roasting and blanching and assembling all very cathartic and had two servings of the final dish. That being said, I am not sure that everyone will feel that way as it really is very labor intensive for what is, essentially, cabbage with pork in fancy dress.
L. was not a fan - liked the filling, feels cabbage should be banned but, none the less, I wanted to post pictures to show that I did it and that it looked lovely.
All that is left is the world's worst pun, which I found myself muttering to myself as I created the outer layer of the chou farci - "chou-la-la"!
