L. and his dad are enjoying cooking together and it is rather sweet watching them bond over this shared interest. We leave late Monday morning and I have made a mental note that, along with the usual obligatory pre-departure towel and sheet wash that I take care of when visiting our Cape house, I will need to do a thorough kitchen clean. Perhaps power wash it. Or bomb the site. I have never seen anything like it. Boys/men never seem to have quite the eyesight of the female of the species when it comes to the concept of properly clean. Pictures of all of their successful dishes will get posted once I have them in one place.
When L. and I get back to business as usual, we will be dining on the following. I am fairly happy with this week's menu with slight misgivings about Friday's burger. It could be absolutely delicious or truly terrifying, Stay tuned.
