In order to cheer ourselves up, L. and I recently invested in a mini-raclette machine for 2. It seemed like a lovely thing to have in order to indulge in copious amounts of melted cheese - one of our favorite activities.
Last night we decided to try it for the first time but, being both hungry and not mechanically minded enough not to understand the photo on the box showing how to put the very simple machine together, the above is what we ended up with.
Not sure the raclette was worth the subsequent additional expenses to my household budget but a good meal none the less.
