Not to sound like little Johnny one note here but - yet again and in chorus now - spring, spring, spring...I am ready for spring. It snowed a few days ago, it was freezing today and we apparently have yet another storm on the way. The jonquils and crocuses in front of our building came out for a few days and then flattened and froze, poor little things.
My body is definitely ready for spring food and done with winter's - this week's menu is therefore the culinary equivalent of raiding one's closet between seasons. Nothing quite works, and one is always either too hot or too cold. Goldilocks would be as cross as I am about this weird in between season.
