I did the cooking and then, as per the terms of our experiment in pretty plating, L. and I each decorated our plate without looking at what the other was up to. The end results were remarkably similar but, as L. pointed out with sincere disappointment in his voice, there wasn't much we could do differently with what I gave us to work with.
All I could think was that pretty is ultimately in the eye of the beholder and that I rather overcooked the fish. The lemon-green peppercorn sauce was easy and pretty damn good though...
