I pride myself on the fact that we eat pretty well and that proper variety and copious vegetables are incorporated in L.’s diet on a weekly basis. So far this has been proven true since I get congratulated every year at his annual physical when our long time doctor invariably tells me that, based on the very extensive blood testing portion of our visit, I am one of the only parents whose child does not need supplementary vitamins in the form of a pill.
Self-congratulations aside, this week I feel that I am letting us down a bit on the veggie front so will be sneaking extra ones in the recipes here and there wherever I can.
