I'm rather enjoying my new Sunday challenge of assembling a meal from what I have to hand. I like the creativity and alchemy of putting together random ingredients from CSA box surprises, pantry, fridge and freezer and still managing to come up with something delicious.
Other than that, my mom is coming for dinner on Monday (hence the slightly more convoluted dinner than usual), I am excited about making sourdough tortillas from scratch and also about Thursday's dinner in general - if it all works out. Last but not least, having watched a video about Philly cheese steaks together and discussed how good they should be but how awful they usually are, L. and I will be attempting to reinvent the wheel where that iconic sandwich is concerned.
