Lazy, chilly Sunday afternoons are always the best day to bake, or stew or roast and fill the house with the good smell of something bubbling away in the oven for dinner later on in the day. The weather here has been ridiculous, record breaking colds and them balmy highs, and I planned this bread on a cold day. Even though it was warm enough today to have the windows open for a couple of hours in the afternoon, I still baked and we enjoyed the bread with cheese and charcuterie.
