A Culinary Xmas present

This enormous foie gras terrine was sent to us along with a whole bunch of other foodie goodies by my ex-boss, and L.'s godfather, Chef Daniel Boulud. i would bathe in it if I could...In lieu of that, much too much has been consumed on hot toast.
