Grilled Pork Bahn Mi with Pickled Vegetables

This has potential but I am not quite there yet...

I marinated sukiyaki pork in hoisin sauce and ginger and stuck the thinly sliced meat under the broiler to char a bit. I then stuffed the meat into toasted baguette along with coriander and lightly pickled cucumber, pea shoots and carrot.

And guess whose sandwich was whose? Hint: the teenager has a bigger appetite than his mom
