Last week started off badly, when I inadvertently turned what should have been a vibrant orange soup sludge gray instead, but I made up for it later in the week with an exceptional pot pie crust and a truly delicious recreation of a Brussels sprouts dish that I ate a few months ago.
I am hoping to keep the winning streak going early this week while taking full advantage of all of the seasonal root vegetables available this month. At the end of this week L. and I are taking a few days off for his spring vacation, checking on the Cape house and taking a mini break in Boston. Of course, being me, we are staying at the Parker House - home of the Parker House roll and Boston Cream Pie!
