Happy Memorial Day weekend! We have had sunny days so far so L. and I are discussing using the balcony grill for tomorrow's Eye of Round Steak rather than cooking it stove top as per our usual. This week I am looking forward to tonight's Squid Bolognese, where the squid acts as both pasta and meat in the sauce, to hand made spring ravioli, to pickle butter with salmon (as well as the verdant fresh fava bean purée that will accompany it), and to Falafel Waffles, which I think is a genius idea of mine and which has L. already perusing the take out menus. We shall see...
