Not only has it been quite chilly for early September but I succombed to the pleasures of autumn vegetables at the farmers' market this week - Kabocha squash and Brussels sprouts both looked delicious and came home with me.
Life being what it is, yesterday was a humid 92F in Manhattan and an early fall meal just seemed like poor planning. We cranked up the air conditioning and had a delicious meal despite my seasonal misgivings. I cannot recommend Miso Crusted Pork Chops enough.
