Replace Arizona in the image above with New York and you have an idea of the heat in Manhattan these days. I tend not to be too reactive to heat but even I have the house sealed tight and the air conditioner cranked up as high as it will go. As you can see from this week's menu, though cooking is involved, there is as little use of the oven as possible and a fair amount of food served cold.
