Subscribers have already gotten an earful about salads in general, Buddha bowls, and the rare joys of getting a really good one of either, so let me just mention in passing that this week, in L.'s absence, is Pity Party's Salad Week.
It is certainly a good idea in theory, especially in the summer when there is so much produce to take advantage of (and probably a healthier option than many of my dinners (sigh)), but I wonder if I have subconscious mixed feelings about this endeavor based on the Notting Hill quote rip off above. I am no Julia Roberts, and certainly not a romantic, but it did rather speak to me...
