I seem to have inadvertently packed a lot of strong flavors into this week's menu, as a rereading before publishing brought to light for me. I am quite interested to see if Tuesday' dish with lavender will work or not and, of course, since Sunday's menu is usually composed of everything that I need to use up in the weekly fridge raid, miso and myoga and Szechuan peppercorns aren't a bad way to go. Other than that, I seem to have brought legumes back in full force this week. It must be fall.
