Corny name aside, this is an excellent fall cocktail of pomegranate juice, green tea and vodka, with back notes of fall spices and red wine. I served this on the rocks but I could see it as a warm cocktail, kissing cousin to mulled cider, when the nights get colder and you want to welcome guests with not only a restorative drink but also something to wrap their hands around to get them warm.
This will make 1 cocktail. Just multiply as needed.
1 part green tea
1 part pomegranate juice
1 jigger of vodka
1 Tbsp fig-red wine syrup
Splash of lemon
Combine all ingredients and serve over ice in a lowball glass or, heat all ingredients except for the vodka, and add it just before pouring the heated juice mixture into mugs.
