Bonus Recipe: Roasted Soy Long Stem Broccoli

I made this as a side dish for my version of Nobu's famous miso cod and, quite frankly, liked this nearly as much as the fish. This could be made with regular broccoli cut into florets as well.

1 lb long stem broccoli, washed and ends trimmed

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 Tbsp soy sauce

Juice from one lemon

Salt to taste

1 Tbsp furikake or sesame seeds (optional)

Preheat the oven to 400.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the broccoli pieces on the paper in one layer and drizzle with the olive oil.

Roast for 20 minutes. Turn the pieces over and roast for another 10 minutes.

Drizzle with the soy sauce and roast an additional 5 to 10 minutes until the soy sauce has caramelized.

Remove from the oven. Drizzle with lemon juice and the furikake or sesame seeds. Toss to combine.
