This is a great appetizer or dish to serve when you are making a tapas style dinner at home. This is a non-recipe recipe: it is so simple that there was no point in writing all the steps down. Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the shrimp until pink on all sides. Shake on salt and Old Bay and toss to combine before spritzing with the juice of one lemon.
The sauce is delicious and also very easy. Either roast some red peppers in the oven - or just buy a jar - and blitz about 1 cup's worth with a couple of tablespoons of store bought BBQ sauce.
Voila! Not exactly gourmet cooking but sometimes food like this - easy, on the table in moments and despite that really good - is exactly what you want to make having been lazy all day on a rainy, cold Sunday.
